The goal from the family was to host a casual rehearsal dinner with some southern charm. Extended family members cooked the Low Country Boil and brought homemade desserts which made it so special.

From the custom invitations calligraphed for each recipient to the welcome sign and watercolor-bordered place cards, the details added a fun element to the seafood dinner.

Handwritten Name Placecards
Daisies from Trader Jo's provided perfect low-key florals for the evening. Mason jars with ribbon bows provided an easy but pretty way to display the florals...

Large market baskets are great ways to hold a fern and a hydrangea plant for the door area to welcome friends to the dinner...

Small individual tins with parchment paper and fingertip washcloths with attached rosemary provided extra care for the low country boil participants to keep it from getting too messy...
Besides the decor, I was happy to collect photos from the bride and groom's families and produced the slideshow that played at the dinner as guests arrived and then again at the end of the dinner. All in all, it turned out how the family wanted...a casual but thoughtful rehearsal dinner the night before the stress of the wedding day.
